Our hours of operations are Monday through Friday, 8AM – 5PM. We are closed on the weekends. There is a drop box available for customers picking up or dropping off vehicles after business hours. 

We opened J&J Automotive Services in January 2002.

Owner and Founder, James (Jim) Drollinger has an electronics background with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems with a Minor in Business Management. Jim is also Certified in Project Management.

Jim is the General Manager of J&J Automotive Services. He maintains the following certifications: ASE Certified Master Automobile Technician, L1 Advanced Rating, ASE Certified Truck Equipment Technician, ASE Certified Undercar Specialist, ASE Certified Service Consultant, ASE Certified in Refrigerant Recovery & Recycling (Section 609 of U.S. EPA), Certified ALLDATA Specialist, certified Emissions Repair Technician, Licensed Virginia State Safety Inspector, and is a Licensed DEQ Technician. We only use the Highest Quality Parts available for the repair within a 12 month or 12K mile warranty.

Driveability issues are challenging. We use a multi-tiered diagnostic procedure to identify the "cause" of a problem so that we can focus on the "solution". See our Diagnostics page for more information.

If you have an issue with your car, we will run a diagnostic procedure. These procedures save you money in the long run by preventing you from purchasing parts you do not need and having to pay extra fees for the time your car is in the shop. The diagnostic test allows us to determine what the problem is and provide the needed attention to the problem.

We have served clients both locally and nationally. This includes, but is not limited to, Prince William, Loundon, and Fairfax counties located in Virginia. We have also serviced customers from Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Canada, California, Oregon, New York and Washington state.
